Holiday in Denmark

We are enjoying our holiday in Denmark. It has been raining lots but now the sun is shining, mum and dad and Ida are here after spending 2 weeks on our own with our grandparents. We have been outside most of the time, done walks in the woods and also been swimming in the sea. Tomorrow we are going to Jutland by ferry to another summer house for a week. 

School holiday coming up!

We can not wait for the summer holiday to begin. The last weeks have been too long even though we had lots of fun activities in school. We both went to Kidzania and Malthe to the movies to watch Cars 2. Tomorrow it is party day.

We are going to Denmark for the holiday and farfar is coming to pick us up so we can stay in Denmark without mum and dad. Very exciting.

A nice swim in hot Dubai

It is hot here in Dubai now almost 50 degrees. We can not play outside anymore but we can still cool down in the pool. We have a busy week with school and homework, friends and after school activities. We are looking forward to a long holiday!

Around Dubai

We are very busy at school but we also get out to explore Dubai. It is a very big city with lots of tall buildings, amusement and entertainment. We went on a city tour 4 hours around all the places in Dubai with our Grandad and mum. They are still building everywhere. Dubai is very different from Brunei. Now it is getting very hot.

Burf Khalifa

Today Malthe went up in the world's tallest building. It is 828 metres high. It was a funny feeling going up and I could feel it in my ears, he said. But it was amazing. Malthe went with his school on a trip. Daniel also went on a trip today - a indoor world of educational fun: Cite des Enfants

A weekend with friends

We had a great weekend playing with our two Danish friends, Anders and Silje. Anders is the same age as Malthe and Silje and Daniel are the same age. They only live a few houses from us.

On Saturday we went to a resort with pool with Anders og Silje. It was so much fun.

Our first birthday party

It is winter here but still 20-30 degrees. On Friday we went to my new friend Sebastian's birthday in a beach park. It was great to play at the beach again but the water was freezing. We had fun playing in the playground as well and had party bags, lots of food and cake.

Sport's Day

Just like in JIS we had Sport's day in our new school. It was fun. I won a medal. I am also in yellow house in Dubai like I was in Brunei. Next week I will start to football again after school.

Our new school

This is our new school. This week is international week and on Thursday we have international day.

New school and uniforms

Here we are on our first day at school in our new uniforms. We were a bit nervous. All in Malthe's new class have just started in January too. We have both nice teachers. There are children from 65 different countries in the school. On Thursday it is International Day.

Our new garden

When we first came the garden was one big sandpit. Soon we will be able to play out here. Tomorrow we start school. We went to see the school last week and it is very similar to JIS. Hope you are all doing well. We still miss our friends in Brunei.

Arrival in Dubai

We finally made it to Dubai, and we like our new house, new bedrooms and enjoy playing outside on the street with the other children.



Malthe got a new bicycle and have already made friends. We can walk to a big playground and a swimmingpool, and yesterday we went to see our new school.
